Introducing Our New Feature: Boolean Search Manager
We're thrilled to unveil our latest feature: Boolean Search Manager! Dedicated to all sourcers and recruiters who work with X-ray Search on a daily basis, this tool is set to simplify your recruitment process.
dotlinker has just got a new function, which can be summarized as Boolean Search Manager. Before we move on to describing the functions, it is worth recalling the basics and answering the question what Boolean Search and X-ray Search are
What is X-ray Search?
X-ray search uses search engines like Google to find specific information on websites that have been indexed. By crafting Boolean strings with site-specific parameters, you can discover hidden profiles and content that are not directly visible through the platform’s internal search functionality.
Why Should I Use X-ray Search?
By using X-ray search techniques through Google, you can find candidates outside of your third-degree network on LinkedIn without needing Recruiter Lite or LinkedIn Recruiter Premium. This method leverages Google's indexing to uncover profiles that might not appear in standard LinkedIn searches.
What is the Difference Between Boolean Search and X-ray Search?
Boolean Search refers to the method of creating complex search queries using Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine search results on a specific platform. X-ray Search, on the other hand, uses these Boolean operators in conjunction with site-specific parameters on search engines like Google to find information across different websites, including those that may not be visible through a platform’s internal search.
